Race Day

Carson and Owen ran in the Wichita River Fest Tot Trot race on Saturday, May 08th. They had a great time and did very well. It was a beautiful morning for a race. I ran the two mile race earlier that same morning. Carson and Owen were looking so forward to their race, but once it was time to line up they got a "little bit nervous" especially Owen. They got to run with other four year olds. There were several heats. Carson won his heat. Owen came in a "distant second." Both boys got medals for running their race. Carson was too cool to wear his after his race, but Owen wore his with pride.

And the race is on! Carson is in the front (left center), Owen is right behind him. Carson passed the boy with the blue pants at the finish line.

Our Cheerleaders! Stella and Isaac sat in the stroller for hours and didn't complain once. They were troopers this day.

Kara,
That is just the CUTEST thing! I love how you have completely instilled a love of running in your boys ... I know right now they see running as I'm-a-kid-of-course-I-love-to-run! type of thing but because of you they will always love it and not be a big whiner like me:-)
That video is awesome! You're such an amazing mom:-)
